Lucea is located in Hanover, the 3rd smallest parish in Jamaica. It is a coastal town built around a natural harbor, and it happens to be the capital/main town of the parish.
In the past, this little town was one of the most important towns here, because it provided Jamaica with most of its produce…Isn’t that amazing?? Banana was, however, their main export until the 1960s.
