A high-end shopping plaza with luxury goods, The Shoppes is not for those looking for a bargain. There are several quaint designer boutiques and shops selling unique arts and crafts, coffee and spices. This gated shopping area has beautiful architecture and several shaded walkways and towering palm trees to protect shoppers from the tropical sun.
There are also several restaurants and cafes in the complex. Local musicians sometimes perform in the open and entertain shoppers as they go about their purchases. Several hotels offer a free shuttle to the plaza.

The Shoppes at Rose Hall was designed to resemble an old-time Caribbean town, in keeping with the historic Rose Hall Great House, located on the opposite side of the road. The Plaza features cobblestone paths, a recreation of a traditional sugar plantation water wheel, covered walkways, fountains, and towering palm trees.
